PATHWAY TO SALVATION

Salvation is the gift of God. A powerful, personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ is God’s will for you. The bible says, “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is long suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9).

Have you had a personal encounter with Jesus Christ? Have you been saved? Are you a Born Again Christian? If your answer to the above question is “No”, then please continue reading to find out WHY you should and HOW you can…

Jesus came that we might have a more abundant life. He came to carry our weaknesses, our sickness, our pain, so that we can walk in total freedom, peace, power and purpose.

Jesus is more than a historical figure or a great teacher who once lived. He conquered death so that we might live. We don’t have to earn His love and salvation, its’ a free gift available to all who will believe. Jesus wants to have a personal relationship with us. All we have to do is receive it by faith, and come to Him just the way we are.

Steps to Salvation

Do you want the very best that life can offer? Do you want to have hope for the present and for the future? Do you want to experience the joy that only Christ can bring? Do you want to know with certainty where you will go when you leave this world? You can have all of this. It’s as easy as ABC. Here’s how!

A. Admit you are a sinner.
“There is no one righteous, not even one…for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
(Romans 3:10, Romans 3:23, Romans 5:8; Romans 6:23.)

Ask God’s forgiveness.
“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
(Romans 10:13)

B. Believe in Jesus
(put your trust in Him) as your only hope of salvation.
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16, John 14:6).

Become a child of God by receiving Christ.
“To all who receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.” (John 1:12; Revelation 3:20).

C. Confess that Jesus is your Lord.

“If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9-10)

If you have read this and you are sincerely ready to let Jesus become your Lord and Savior then you need to pray for Him to come into your heart. You may pray the following prayer:

Dear God, I know that I have sinned and need forgiveness of my sin. I know that Jesus Christ is Your Son, that He died on the cross for me and that He is able to remove my sin and give me eternal life. I am willing to turn from my sin and receive Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I will trust Him with my life and will live my life for Him. Thank you for my salvation. I pray this in Jesus’ name, Amen.
